Course of Study Enrollment

Course Requirements:

Thank you for your interest in our online Course of Study. There is no fee for access to our online Course material; it is available for the benefit of those seeking to further their knowledge of the Craft. However, potential students must be 18 years of age or older and meet the criteria described below.

To enroll, please email the following requirements to: skye@darkforestcoven.com

1) Your name, your date of birth, your location (city).

2) Your personal essay. (See the section below for essay guidelines.)

Upon receipt of these two items, your enrollment application will be reviewed. If you are accepted, you will be notified and given a login name and password to access our website. If for some reason you are not accepted, you will be sent an email of explanation. You should hear from us within one week of receiving your application. If not, please contact us.

Your Personal Essay:

Candidates applying for our study program are asked to submit a 1-2 page personal essay.

Your personal essay is used to determine if our Course is a good match for your needs, as well as compatibility with our Tradition. Below are examples of the type of information that we are interested in knowing about you. We are interested in order to evaluate your intentions for enrolling, but we also do not wish to invade your privacy.

Required Information:

What was your religious upbringing as a child?

What is your current spiritual affiliation?

How did you come to know the God and Goddess? What type of relationship do you have with Them now?

Are you currently taking any other correspondence courses or "hands-on" spiritual courses? What type (if any) of formal training have you had in the past?

Are you a member of any other spiritual groups?

Do you teach any spiritual subjects yourself and if so, what type?

Do you have any physical/mental/emotional challenges that we should be aware of, that may make this type of study difficult?

Please explain your reasons for enrolling in our Course.

Optional questions:

What type of work do you do?

Are you married/single? Children? Animal-companions?

What type of hobbies or interests do you have?

What types of books have you read on: Paganism, Goddess Spirituality, Metaphysics, etc.?

Is there anything else that you wish us to know about you?

Please note that by enrolling in our online study program, you are not joining our Coven. At this time we are not accepting new members into our Coven. This Course is offered only to expand your knowledge and enhance your personal practice of the Craft. We do not offer Rites of Passage such as Dedication and Initiation to online students, as we cannot furnish the necessary ritual experience through online study.
